These self-adhesive films (also known as solar control films) have the potential to transform a space from a stuffy no-go area, to a comfortable workplace with a consistent and bearable temperature.

The installation process is a doddle. Although, we would recommend asking someone to lend a hand (and that you have a good look at the instructions and our installation guide before you begin).
Can heat reflecting window film be removed without damaging the windows?
You can remove solar control window films quite easily if you decide to replace them. Just remember that you can’t reuse the same film over and over.
Simply peel it off the glass pane and make sure you clean away any residue with soapy water.
Will heat reflecting window film eliminate hot spots in my commercial building?
One added benefit of heat control window film is you can say goodbye to ‘hot spots’ and extreme peaks in air conditioning demands at certain times of day.

How do you maintain heat reflecting window film?
Solar control window film is generally low maintenance, saving you valuable time on complicated cleaning routines.
Allow 30 days after installation for it to adhere properly to the glass, and then clean the film with non-abrasive cloths and mild soapy water.
It’s best to avoid industrial-strength cleaners or pads that could scratch the film surface however, as this will affect the overall appearance.

Adding solar control film to a window doesn’t normally need planning permission.
But, we should state that it is your responsibility to check that you’re complying with all local planning rules before the installation of your new film.
